8.25 miles of trails skirt along the shoreline of Knob Creek and loop the park, winding through heavily forested woods; the shoreline and main trails are fast and flowing and the trails that climb to the ridge are twisty with steep descents; fishing pier and water access offers paddling around the inlet or access out to the Tennessee River; 2-acre PetSafe Dog Park features separate areas for large and small dogs, shelter, benches and a water fountain; mountain bikers can connect with Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness via backroads
