Cutting through 11 Tennessee counties, the Justin P. Wilson Cumberland Trail State Park follows a line of pristine high ridges and deep gorges from Cumberland Gap, on the Tennessee, Virginia and Kentucky border to the Tennessee River Gorge, on the Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia border; the Cumberland Trail is still under construction but will extend over 330 miles when complete; of the proposed 330+ miles of trail, approximately 185 miles and 40 trailheads are open for public use
