 5.8 miles of twisting trail reaches Knox County’s highest point featuring an overlook from the 2,100-foot crest with exceptional views of the parallel mountain ranges 30 miles away; Trails can be steep as they wind through heavily wooded terrain dotted with impressive rock outcrops; Birdwatchers can observe migrating hawks and warblers, pileated woodpeckers, scarlet tanagers, wild turkeys, plus over 100 additional species of birds; This is a great start location for cyclists to ride the scenic backroads
