Many of our most interesting and colorful birds traveled to Central and South America for the winter, but spring is finally here and they are returning from their vacations. While traveling thousands of miles across oceans and continents, birds can encounter many obstacles. How do these little feathered friends survive and return year after year to the same locations? We will be learning about the perils of migration and searching the park for some of these tiny travelers. Bring water. We’ll walk up to 2 miles on easy terrain. Ages 8-12 years. Cost $5.
