Meet at Meads Quarry to hike to the Pink Marble Trail to focus on the behavior, characteristics, and history of two of Ijams’ top four problematic invasive plants, bush honeysuckle and Chinese privet. Volunteers will learn how to identify these plants and be trained in removal techniques. The goal of this workday is to remove these noxious invaders, giving native plants a chance to thrive. Bring water. Tools and gloves provided. Free. Register online.
