Join GSMA writer-in-residence Sue Wasserman for her Hike-Ooh Walk on the Gatlinburg Trail. Sue fell in love with Haiku after being asked by the Penland School of Craft to teach it to children. She believes the three-line poems pack a big punch when paired with nature. Sue will introduce walkers to Haiku, read a few to get those creative juices flowing, develop a group Haiku, before sending individuals out to wander and find their own inspiration.
