The Great Backyard Bird Count is an annual community science event that encourages people to get out to identify and count birds all around the world on February 18th-21st. We will hike approximately 3 miles and keep a list of all the birds we see along the way. Learn the basics of birding, including tips for identification, bird songs, and the best tools and resources for beginning birders. Bring field guides (optional), and binoculars. Free.
