During this week-long camp, you’ll work with scientists to search for salamanders and catch songbirds to support research in the park. You’ll also build friendships with other girls as you swim in mountain streams, share stories around the campfire, and watch the fireflies emerge from the grass. After exploring the forests and streams of the Smokies, you’ll get to design your own field investigation to take a closer look at the critters you’re most excited about. Ages: 12–15. Registration includes food and lodging. Register online.
