August’s full moon is known as the Sturgeon Moon, named after a pre-historic looking fish that is found in our lakes and rivers. We’ll hike to a high point in the park to watch the moon rise and explore parts of Seven Islands by the light of the moon. We’ll discuss the nocturnal animals that live in the park and look for evidence of them as they emerge from their daytime hiding places. Cost $8. Register online.
